Terms of Service

Last updated: March 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using TubeCommand ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

TubeCommand is a self-hosted YouTube channel management platform that allows users to connect YouTube channels via the YouTube Data API v3, automate uploads, manage metadata, captions, playlists, comments, and view analytics across multiple channels from a single dashboard.

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account with a valid email address and password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use TubeCommand only for lawful purposes and in compliance with YouTube's Terms of Service, Google API Terms of Service, and all applicable laws. Specifically, you agree NOT to:

5. YouTube API Compliance

TubeCommand interacts with YouTube through official API endpoints. By connecting your YouTube channels, you authorise TubeCommand to access and manage your channel data within the scopes you grant during the OAuth consent process. You may revoke access at any time through your Google Account settings.

6. Data and Privacy

TubeCommand is self-hosted software. Your data, including OAuth tokens and analytics, is stored on your own server infrastructure. We do not collect, store, or have access to your YouTube data or credentials. See our Privacy Policy for more details.

7. Payment and Subscriptions

Certain features may require a paid subscription. Prices are displayed on our pricing page and are subject to change with 30 days' notice. Subscriptions are billed monthly. You may cancel at any time, and your access will continue until the end of your billing period.

8. Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service but make no guarantees of uptime or availability. As self-hosted software, service availability depends on your own hosting infrastructure. We are not liable for downtime caused by your hosting provider, Google API outages, or YouTube platform changes.

9. Limitation of Liability

TubeCommand is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for any loss of revenue, data, or channel access arising from the use of the Service, including but not limited to YouTube policy enforcement actions, API quota exhaustion, or data loss.

10. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, and documentation, is the intellectual property of TubeCommand. Your subscription grants you a licence to use the software; it does not transfer ownership.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the Settings page. Upon termination, your data remains on your own server and is your responsibility to manage.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify registered users of significant changes via email.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
